Transliteration Guide

This is the new proposed transliteration scheme for the Journal of Islamic Philosophy.

Note that in order to be able to view this table correctly you will need to have the following font (Times Ext Roman) to be installed on your system.

The following letter should ? look like this:  if not that means that you do not have the correct font (Times Ext Roman) loaded on your system and you will not be able to see the transliterated letters correctly. Further, you may need to use Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher to see the Arabic letters. I.E. 5.0 might work on certain conditions.

The font may be downloaded from the following source: http://www.bcca.org/services/fonts/

The source of this file is the following word file (nit.doc)

Users of non windows based systems please use the pdf files that we have for individual articles for correct display.  (nit.pdf)
