The word li-t-tafsir,
which in this context cannot refer to
Qur'an commentaries, is omitted in A and B, cut off in the
margin of C, and missing in D. Li-t-tafassur,
in the Paris ed., may be a misprint.
It may be added here that the word translated
"expert knowledge" in the following sentence also has the
equivalent meaning of "knowing by heart." Cf, n. 1362, below. |
